Founder & CEO

TL;DR

  • Microsoft Excel sync — Connect your Excel files directly to Go Fig both as scheduled imports and exports
  • New data sources — Dialpad and Google Search Console now available
  • See your data updating in real-time — Watch data refresh progress as it happens
  • Smarter date handling — Easier date grouping and calculations in your reports
  • Faster dashboards — Charts and reports load quicker with less waiting

Microsoft Excel Sync

You can now connect Microsoft Excel files directly to Go Fig. If you're already working in Excel, this is the fastest way to get your data into Go Fig for reporting and analysis.

How it works:

  • Connect your files — Link Excel files from OneDrive or upload them directly
  • Automatic updates — When your Excel file changes, Go Fig picks up the new data automatically
  • Export directly to your Excel— Workflows take data directly from the source (Quickbooks or SQL warehouse), perform all the cleaning and transformations, and export directly into your online Excel document

This is perfect for teams who maintain data in spreadsheets but want more powerful visualization and automation capabilities.

New Data Sources: Dialpad & Google Search Console

Two new data sources are now available in Go Fig.

Dialpad

Sync your call center and communication data directly into Go Fig for analysis.

Available data:

  • Call records and durations
  • Call transcripts
  • Team and agent activity metrics

Google Search Console

Track your SEO performance by connecting Google Search Console.

Available data:

  • Search queries and rankings
  • Click-through rates
  • Page performance metrics
  • Device and country breakdowns

Both connections automatically clean up common data issues, so your numbers are accurate from the start.

See Your Data Updating in Real-Time

No more wondering if your data is refreshing. The new sync status shows you exactly what's happening as your data sources update.

How it helps:

  • Live progress updates — See refresh progress without constantly checking back
  • Know when it's done — Get notified when scheduled updates complete
  • Spot issues immediately — If something goes wrong, you'll see the error right away with clear next steps

Find the status tracker on your Data page. When a data source is updating, you'll see it happen in real-time.

Smarter Date Handling

Working with dates in your reports just got much easier.

What's improved:

  • Easy date grouping — Group your data by year, quarter, month, week, or day with a simple selection
  • Better calculations — Date formulas handle tricky edge cases like time zones automatically
  • Cleaner display — Dates show up more intuitively throughout Go Fig
  • Consistent formatting — Dates from different sources now match up correctly when you combine them

These improvements apply to all your existing reports automatically.

Faster Dashboards

Dashboards load faster, especially when you have lots of charts.

What's improved:

  • Quicker chart settings — The chart configuration panel opens much faster
  • Smarter refreshing — Charts only recalculate when the underlying data actually changes, not every time you save
  • Better zoom controls — Zoom in and out of your dashboard to see the big picture or focus on details
  • Smoother dragging — Rearranging charts on your dashboard feels more responsive
