Does opting out delete what you already have?
No. It stops ad tracking and company lookups from this browser from here on. To see, fix, or delete what we already hold, email [email protected].
How do you check for Global Privacy Control?
We read it from your browser when the page loads (the navigator.globalPrivacyControl setting), not from the Sec-GPC request header. This site is served from a shared cache, so a choice read from the header could be handed to the next visitor. Every browser and extension that sends the header also sets the browser setting, so the two agree.
Why doesn't the switch stop PostHog?
PostHog reports only to our own account and is never passed to an ad network. Under California law that is neither selling nor sharing, so this opt-out does not cover it. We say so here so the gap never looks accidental.
What happens after I email you?
We may need to confirm it is you first. Then we do what you asked, or tell you if a legal exception stops us. Asking never changes how we treat you.
