How to connect HubSpot
Install the Go Fig HubSpot app
Connect via HubSpot's marketplace. You'll approve scopes for CRM objects, marketing data, and custom properties. The connection uses a long-lived refresh token so you don't reauthorize unless scopes change.
Select pipelines and custom properties
HubSpot accounts often have multiple pipelines (new business, renewal, partnership) and hundreds of custom properties. Pick which pipelines represent your booked revenue and which custom properties carry deal-level context like ARR, segment, or contract term.
Map HubSpot stages to forecast categories
Celeste will pre-suggest a mapping from HubSpot deal stages to Commit / Best Case / Pipeline categories based on stage probabilities. Review and override for your RevOps conventions.
Connect to accounting for closed-loop CAC
If QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero is already connected, Go Fig automatically joins HubSpot contact-creation dates to booking dates and expense ledger marketing spend to produce a blended and channel-level CAC.
Authentication: OAuth 2.0 with HubSpot's private app scopes. You choose exactly which objects (deals, contacts, companies, marketing) are exposed to Go Fig, and the token is scoped to those objects only.
Common Questions About HubSpot Integration
Which HubSpot tiers work with Go Fig?
All HubSpot tiers are supported for CRM objects (deals, contacts, companies). Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise is required for full email/campaign event data. Operations Hub is not required. If you're on free CRM, Go Fig still pulls everything the HubSpot API exposes at that tier.
How does Go Fig handle HubSpot's custom properties?
All custom properties on deals, contacts, and companies are ingested as native columns in Go Fig. This includes calculated properties, multi-select picklists, and date fields. Celeste can reason over them directly (e.g., 'revenue by deal_type for FY24'), which is how finance teams typically segment a HubSpot pipeline.
Can I combine HubSpot deal data with booked revenue from accounting?
Yes. This is the most common use case. Go Fig joins HubSpot deals to invoices in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero via the customer or company record, letting you compare forecasted ARR to realized revenue, measure close-won accuracy, and flag deals that booked differently than closed.
What's the sync frequency for HubSpot data?
Hourly by default, with optional 15-minute intervals on Premium plans. HubSpot enforces a 250,000 daily request limit per portal; Go Fig sync volume is well below that even for 100K+ contact portals because we use incremental sync anchored on the lastModifiedDate property.
How do I attribute revenue back to marketing channels?
Go Fig ingests HubSpot's original source, first-touch, and last-touch attribution fields and lets you build custom attribution models on top in a flow. Because the underlying deal, contact, and email data is all available, you can replicate multi-touch models (linear, time-decay, U-shaped) without leaving the platform.
