About the InnoVision Awards
The InnoVision Awards are South Carolina’s longest-running recognition of technology and innovation excellence. Since 1999, the program has honored companies, academic institutions, and individuals who are advancing the state’s innovation economy. Finalists are selected across categories including Technology Development, Technology Integration, Community Service, and Emerging Technology.
Why the recognition matters
For a Greenville-based startup, being named alongside established South Carolina technology companies is validation that the problem we’re working on, helping finance and product teams get real answers from their data without a full engineering team behind them, resonates beyond the local startup ecosystem.
The recognition came during a formative period for the company. We were early in proving the thesis that AI could collapse the distance between operators and their data, and InnoVision finalists are typically companies with working products and real traction. Being in that group reinforced that the direction was correct.
What’s next
The work continues. Since the InnoVision recognition, Go Fig has expanded into the Financial Intelligence Graph: a governed, connected model of every system, entity, and relationship in a company’s finances, with AI financial analysts running on top. Our conviction, that finance leaders deserve a senior-analyst-grade workflow without hiring one, has only gotten sharper.
The shape of the product has also changed. Recognition at an event like InnoVision is a mid-flight checkpoint, not a destination. The version of Go Fig at the time of the InnoVision ceremony looked quite different from what customers use today: Celeste, our AI financial analyst, performs data pulls, reconciliation, segmentation, variance analysis, and scenario modeling inside Excel, Slack, and the tools finance teams already use. The same engineering discipline and the same research into mid-market finance workflows that earned the InnoVision nod are what produced Celeste.
